
Functional yoga incorporates elements of hatha, restorative, and mindfulness, to focus on the overall wellness of the client.
Participants may be recovering from illness or injury, be total beginners, or simply looking for a more functional practice with this yoga class. The focus is on joint range of movement, overall flexibility, mobility, and releasing tension within the body. Throughout class we will be using props and clear guidance on appropriate practices to meet you where you're at.
Mindfulness guidance cultivates attention and awareness to the present moment with awareness on the breath, mind, and body, to really engage with what is best for you in your practice.
