Shift Stress With Mindfulness for Women (8-Week Course)

Ladies - Imagine prioritising 2 hours each Friday morning over 8-weeks for YOU. Explore yoga, mindfulness and coaching practices to explore fun and creative ways to get out of the mind and into the body to feel more energy, more positive, and to be able to make the best choices for you each day.

Course: Over 8-Weeks we will explore managing stress with mindfulness while also incorporating elements of Systemic Coaching and Yoga Therapy too. This course is based on the 8-Week MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) designed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and includes evidence-based practices recognised by the medical community.

Duration: 2 Hours per week PLUS a commitment to exploring and integrating a daily practice throughout the course

Where: HiddenAcres.ie in Malahide, Co. Dublin

Cost: €350pp (Check with your health insurer or employer to explore if they provide subsidies or time to attend MBSR. Certificate of attendance can be provided if required).

Participants: Min 6, Max. 12 **2 places available for drop-in at a cost of €50pp

Note: This is a creative and engaging course to have some space each week to think, pause, and plan the coming week using foundations of MBSR/MBCT, systemic coaching, and yoga therapy.

Parking is free, with beautiful views and plenty of space to enjoy time in nature. What better way to wrap up a working week and get ready for the weekend, or vice versa depending on your work schedule?

If you can't make all 8-weeks, learning resources will be provided for you to catch-up in your own time. Home practice expected so exploring how to integrate this into your daily life becomes a part of the experience.

What's Involved

🌱 Each week we'll practice evidence based yoga, coaching and mindfulness exercises to relieve physiological responses to stress, anxiety, and pain in your body and mind

🌱 Luxuriate in YOUR prioritised time of 2 hours each Friday morning to enjoy a blend of yoga, mindfulness, journalling, silence, and nature

What Will You Learn

  • Learn about which mindfulness practices suit you specifically while having a bit of fun with it!
  • Explore the differences between meditation and mindfulness practices - simple explanations to make sense of the point of the new habit we're looking to form
  • Why and how does mindfulness work -- understanding the why while doing helps to reinforce the habit
  • Having fun and feeling better isn't about ignoring or pretending things aren't as they are -- it's being able to experiencing joy while also holding the sadness too -- we're human and we have a lot of emotions -- this program gives you space to explore that in a creative, practical, and safe way
  • Mindfulness meditation is one highly effective way to train the mind in present moment awareness, to allow us to pause and respond more creatively to our lives in relation to what's happening at any given time.
  • Explore how to bring it all into your daily life so that this not a separate practice but actually becomes a way of living and loving yourself and the choices you can make to prioritise yourself.
