Sometimes when you're working with a client, they may not be clear themselves about their true needs and goals. They may tell you what they think they want to work towards, but little by little, each time we meet, their needs and desires are uncovered through words and actions.

I coach people of all ages, individually and in groups, through sport and mindfulness, as well as through conversation and creativity. It really depends on the individual. The quotes below were from individuals who were part of different groups. We weren't addressing individual needs, but the intentions of the wider group. These included connecting with community, becoming aware of internal needs, learning to communicate with others, building strength inside and out, and many many more.

Change isn't the same for everyone, it can be scary, but with the right tools you'll learn how to manage it in the best way for you.

Some of the feedback I've heard from participants, aged from 3 to 90 are:

  • I wish I'd learned at a younger age about how my mind works. I feel sad for how much time I've wasted.

  • I can't believe I've stood freely without the need of my sticks -- I've been so scared I'll fall again.

  • I told my mommy and daddy I'm a bit scared of starting big school and all the homework.

  • I didn't know how to start the conversation, but then it just happened, without all the emotional baggage but just very organically.

Perhaps you're thinking is this really coaching?

Well. My classes encompass all of my experience in leadership and business coaching, mindfulness, and sports coaching. I feel passionate about educating participants to be a part of the process of learning how we are designed to work, live, and thrive. The more we understand, the more we can support ourselves to make better choices. It's never too late to learn that how we think affects us emotionally and physically. How we can reawaken neural pathways that may seem dormant in physical movement; how can we challenge our thoughts to build confidence; how do achieve what we thought we never could? Well every journey includes even the smallest of steps, and nothing is insignificant in your path towards your goals. And usually this is with the help of others.

After all, we're better together -- Ní neart go cur le chéile.
